a musing
what I appreciate about insecurities is that they’re proof that we are impressionable. that people’s actions can affect how we see ourselves and navigate the world. to be without insecurities is to be something, but it ain’t human. it’s a reminder that our flesh bruises and bones break.
yet, the opposite is also true. our uplifting words affect people as well. our encouragement. our laughter. our affirmations provide an anchor for our buoyancy. hug somebody and balance that weight.
